...starts the day after the last St.Patrick's Day.
The committee of volunteers are busy in the planning of the next Nottingham parade and open-air concert and active participation by bands and groups is gaining momentum. St. Patrick's Day in Nottingham is now one of the main cultural events of the year and the new Market Square is an ideal space to receive the parade and spacious enough to accommodate the open-air concert.
But the logistics of security, staging, lighting & sound, crowd management etc have to be planned for. So the committee would like to extend their warmest welcome to anyone who would like to join the St Patrick's Day Committee to help organise future parades. The event is getting larger each year and we require more people to help organise and bring the whole day together.
We are always interested in new people joining the committee to help in whatever capacity they can. We must stress though that you must be willing to give your commitment, time and energy, as all organisation for the day is done in people's spare time.
